The separate ignition method is to assign an ignition coil to each cylinder, and the ignition coil is directly installed on the top of the spark plug, which also cancels the high-voltage wire. This ignition method achieves accurate ignition through camshaft sensors or by monitoring cylinder compression. It is suitable for any cylinder number engine and is particularly suitable for engines with 4 valves per cylinder. Because the spark plug ignition coil combination can be installed in the middle of(DOHC), the gap space is fully utilized. Due to the cancellation of distributors and high-voltage lines, the energy transmission loss and leakage loss are minimal, there is no mechanical wear, and the ignition coils and spark plugs of each cylinder are assembled together, and the external metal is wrapped, which greatly reduces electromagnetic interference and can protect the engine.
